Born in Western Australia, Dr. Chris Padgham complete his medical degree at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Following his studies, a move to Queensland saw him immerse themselves in a diverse training environment, gaining invaluable experience across the state. He undertook advanced training in respiratory medicine in the Gold Coast University Hospital and Logan Hospital before completing a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Chris was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2024.

 

Chris is a Staff Specialist at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and consults at both the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital. He has a broad experience in general respiratory and sleep medicine including pleural and bronchoscopy intervention.

 

Chris is a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the Australasian Sleep Association and the European Respiratory Society.
